  I don’t want ads on my sight. Why is there suddenly a Google Ad on my sight?

  WordPress has been putting ads on our site occasionally to keep the service basically free since mid 2006. That is one of the ways they pay for all the servers, the support staff and developers, all the datacenters and all the bandwidth that we all use.

  There is a no-ads upgrade that you can purchase that will make all the ads go away. It is a yearly upgrade.
