Ads on my blog

I am being informed by readers that there are ads on my blog page…..advertising “girl friends” and “boy friends” which a person might want. I am not aware of this as when I get on my blog it doesn’t show up. Can anyone assist me with this?

WP does runs ads, but probably not those.
Your viewers that are seeing such ads probably have contaminated browsers.

First of all you need to buy or register a domain with wordpress. example *****.com or .org or something thet wordpress blog provide it.
However wordpress provide a wordads functionality to earn money see below refered link to get more knowledge -

That doesn’t sound like ads that WordPress.com has placed on your blog to me at all.
If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. Confirm by clicking the About These Ads link.
WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or links in comments. If you are seeing those then that’s a browser-ad-on issue, or in some cases, it’s embedded into free games downloaded from the internet. See here: Bloggers: Beware of Adware.

All of WordPress.com ads are family-friendly. If you feel an ad is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it, upload it via Media -> Add New to your Media Library. Then return to this thread to post the file name to let Staff them know it’s there for them to view.

Well…..seems that no one other than the original reader who contacted me has seen them. Only the one lady….so it must be on her pc only….something going on in her browser???

Yes it could be a browser add-on. It could be adware or shareware contained in downloads, toolbars, or even just pricked up by clicking links on shopping sites, etc.

Another reader just left a comment on my latest blog….Colleen….that she could see an ad for Maryland Insurance at the bottom of my paragraph…..she was not specific on WHICH paragraph. But….when I looked, I see nothing!!????? What is causing that??? I have never had anyone state/comment that they were seeing ads on my blog until today!!
