ads on my page

So I have the ads, but how does it show you make money off it. And what’s the best way to build your blog to get people to click on your ads. My main question is how do you make money on the ads
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Let me destroy your dreams right now.
WordPress.com will tell you when you’ve made money on the ads. I believe they don’t pay you till you’ve made a hundred dollars on the ads, and that takes, at an average, a year.

Thanks again for your interest in WordAds. Forecasting revenues in online advertising for bloggers is complex.
– Generally, we are paid for impression, not by click. That means the more visits you get, and the more each visitor uses your site, the more you will earn.
– US ad placements currently pay-out at a much greater level than international ads. We are negotiating deals with some partners, particularly in Europe that will see higher rates there but generally we are not compensated well for traffic in Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
– After your first month with WordAds you will see your earnings in your WordPress dashboard which will give you an indication of your earnings potential. We expect that with time we will optimize earnings so that you will earn more from each page served.

Then how do you make money at all for your blog? Can I advertise my product? now that I have my own domain? How are people making a ton of money just off thier blog, I don’t get it

Then how do you make money at all for your blog?
WordPress.com blogs aren’t designed for monetizing. They’re for personal blogging and raising your professional profile, not for making money.
Can I advertise my product?
If you are an artist or designer and/or you make the product yourself with your own hands, then yes. If you are selling things other people made, no.
now that I have my own domain?
Makes no difference.
How are people making a ton of money just off thier blog?
They’re not hosted at WordPress.com OR they’re making so much they can afford the VIP program, like CNN, Forbes, and ICanHazCheezburger.

Not to shatter delusions, but the majority of bloggers that advertise don’t even cover their yearly costs of hosting and domain registration, or if they do, only by a slight margin. If you are thinking of blogging as a way to make a living, you need to take the red pill. Few, do that.
You can perhaps cover some of your costs, or perhaps cover them and then have a latte or two left over, but…
If you are blogging because it is your passion, then blog, but if you are doing it solely to make money, you might want to meditate on that a bit.
