ads on my pages and links in my posts

    Why have ads and links started to appear on my pages / posts. Also, I can no longer see current comments from the comments icon at the top left of my screen (next to my gravatar). I used to be able to click the icon to see recent comments. Now, a window opens but nothing ever shows up in it.

    Sounds like you have malware on your browser. Disable all add-ons and extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find out which it is, then delete that.
