  Why am I getting ads on my pages?

  …because, when you signed up for a free WordPress blog, you agreed to let WordPress run ads on your free blog.

  It’s in the user agreement / TOS you signed.

  Thanks for the quick feedback–Its been a couple of months and yesterday the ads showed up for the first time, so I had to ask. I thought it it was unusual.

  You generally don’t see them when you’re signed in.

  Thanks–just got my computer back from the repair–it has a nasty virus that I think was causing the problem.
