Ads on my site?

    I am suddenly seeings ads on my site? I thought my paid subscription was ad free? Please advise.

    Hi there!

    On WordPress.com Free and (legacy) Starter plan sites, we sometimes display advertisements on your blog or site to help pay the bills. The Starter plan has always shown ads, which is the current plan you have on your petroglyphics.art site.

    To remove ads, that is a feature for Personal or higher plans.

    This makes no sense to me. I purchased an annual paid plan in June of 2022 that was $5 a month and I can tell you I have not seen any ads until recently. Are you saying it will only be $48 a year for zero ads? I’m confused.

    Hi @petroglyphicsart , that’s correct. The Starter Plan was part of a completely different plan mix, and after a fair bit of feedback, we stopped offering it and have the Personal Plan instead.

    With your permission, I’d be happy to switch for you.
