  I’d like to learn how to monetize the site, start generating income from ads, etc. Also, is there a relation to Google Adwords?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Unfortunately, you can’t have Adsense or any other form of advertising on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

  The alternatives you’ve got are the following:

  • Be featured into the WordAds program that includes high traffic blogs that qualify for the program;
  • Get a VIP WordPress.com account
  • Manage your own hosted WordPress installation with WordPress.ORG, which gives you much liberty in advertising. Here’s the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
