Ads or Not?

  Just seeing the post about this new “Starter” plan… which basically is the Personal plan with a higher price… and still no plugins allowed. That’s dumb. But on the blog post about it on the WordPress post here –> https://wordpress.com/blog/2022/05/25/introducing-wordpress-starter-make-your-mark/

  Comments on that post are indicating that ads are still showing on this plan. Is this true?

  On the former plans, plugins were only allowed on the Business and eCommerce Plan.
  As you can see at https://wordpress.com/pricing/ ads are still shown on the Starter Plan.

  From one “member” to another, I’m fully aware of what the Free, Personal, Premium, and Business plan offered in the past. My comment is an indicator that it’s time to move on from crippling these plans with out allowing plugins, and all paid plans should be allowed the full use of WordPress capability.

  I am not won over by paying for a plan that stlll requires I show ads on my website. Why should we have pay this company to show ads? This is stupid.
