I have a blog theladybosses.WordPress.com
When I signed up, the ads used to be place in the footer section now I see an ad after every blog post of mine. That is really ugly and disturbing. The word part is I don’t see any of them through my chrome browser. But incognito mode males my site look soo spammy and full of ads.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, ads are run on our free hosted WordPressdotcom websites and where they show up can change over time.
To remove ads entirely, you would need to upgrade your site to any plan. https://wordpress.com/plans/theladybosses.wordpress.com
If you see excessive or inappropriate ads on your site, please take a screenshot and upload it to your site’s Media Library for Staff to have a look at. Thanks.

Hi @drkakadeshweta, @justjennifer is correct; ads help us cover our costs.
If you upload a screenshot of inappropriate or excessive ads, please update us here and we’ll check it for you.

@supernovia-here’s what I currently see on theladybosses.wordpress.com in an incognito tab in Chrome on my PC (temp screenshot)

Thank you. That’s more ads than my content. And definitely not how it used to bewhen I signed up. They are becoming very aggressive with their ads.

@justjennifer — thanks for the screenshot!
@drkakadeshweta — I’ve passed the screenshot on to our ads team so they can check the placement. I’ll follow up with you here when I have more news from them :) -
@gemmacevans, welcome. And you can use this screenshot and site as a reference to the other thread I posted in about missing the report ads link (sorry for the x-posting).

Hi drkakadeshweta,
Thanks for waiting. I’ve heard back from the ads team and they have confirmed the placement on theladybosses.wordpress.com is normal — which includes those displayed underneath posts. Our ad partners test ads in various locations so it’s possible the placement could change over time.
If you see any ads completely obscuring content, do get in touch with a screenshot. But the ones currently being displayed on your site are displayed and working as expected.

Just noting that in that screenshot, the ad on the right covers the dismiss X for the newsletter signup so a visitor cannot dismiss it.
