Ads pop up in the body of my blog!

    My blog is on private. I do not pay to blog. I do not get paid to blog. Certain words in the body of my blog post become highlighted in blue and underlined twice and if you click on them they lead to ads. I did not do this and I do not like it and want to stop this from happening. What do I do?

    Hi there, if your site is set to Private here, and I verified it is, then we do not show ads on that site. This leads me to believe that there is a plugin in your browser that is doing this, or perhaps some malware on your computer. I would check your browser extensions and also suggest running your malware/virus program to have it check your entire computer to make sure.

    One way to check this would be to try and visit your site from a different browser, perhaps one that you do not regularly use. If the ad links are not there on that browser, then it is something in the the other browser.
