Ads Served dropped to 0?

    I started my website yesterday, and had about 400 ads served. Today, it dropped to zero with the same number of views. Is this a bug? My traffic numbers were almost identical

    Where are you seeing zero ads served?

    For October 4, 5 and 6 I see 646, 516 and 160 ad impressions on your site respectively.

    On those same dates you had 200, 174 and 67 views respectively, so the number of ad impressions roughly correlate with the number of views on your site. The numbers had likely just not been updated yet when you checked – this doesn’t happen in real time.

    Note that even if you get the exact same number of views from one day to the next, it does not imply that either ad impressions or ad earnings will also be the same. The number of ad impressions can depend on various factors, like whether or not those visitors are using ad-blockers, or whether or not advertisers are bidding on that traffic on any given day.

    Whether or not advertisers are bidding and how much, depends on factors like the location and browser history of those visitors, whether or not those visitors give consent for advertising cookies, which other advertisers are also bidding and how much, current trends and fluctuations in the online ad market in general, etc.

    In other words, there is absolutely no way to predict how much your ad impressions and earning will be on any given day, and fluctuations are completely normal, even significant fluctuations.
