Ads stopped working

    Hello,

    I’ve changed my site’s theme yesterday and ads stopped working. i tried other themes – still don’t work. I used to have several ads on each page, but now I see none. However, if I turn on VPN and set location – UK, I can see one ad after each post, but still not several ads, how it’s said in the settings. And it’s still strange, because I used to see ads without VPN from my current location.

    I tried adding ads manually to the sidebar, but it doesn’t work either. I see the label ‘ad’ but no ad itself.

    Can you please help me with that? i don’t earn a lot with the website but it’s nice to know I can earn more, which isn’t possible with no ads being served.

    While switching to different themes, did you re-add the Cookie & Consents Banner to your site?

    Your site’s visitors need to consent to the tracking cookies used to display advertisements targeted to their interests via our WordAds program, among other things.

    Thanks for the answer. Actually, I’ve never done that. I didn’t do that with my previous theme and everything worked just fine

    My new theme doesn’t support widgets, and my plan doesn’t allow me to use plugins.

    However, if I turn on VPN and try EU countries, I can see some of the ads even now. It’s all very confusing

    I switched back to the old theme, added that widget to the footer, agreed to the terms and conditions when I visited my site but still no ads :(

    I checked your WordAds account, and noticed that you deactivated and reactivated the WordAds three days ago and then again yesterday.

    I suggest waiting for a few more days to see if the ads will reappear. If they don’t, we’d be happy to investigate this further.

    Additionally, I noticed that the majority of your visits come from the Europe (90.7%) — to get more ads and more diverse ads, it’s good if the traffic from the North America region is the primary source of the traffic. With this, the ad bidders will most likely start showing more ads on your site.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yeah, i probably tried reactivate ads after I noticed they weren’t working. I will wait for several days. Judging by the updated statistics, some ads were shown yesterday. Not as many as used to but still something. Just interesting why I myself don’t see them :D

    What an upsetting remark about North America. I don’t write in English, so I can hardly rely on getting American traffic. My main regions are Russia and Kazakhstan :(
