ads won't show up on my blog

  hi there i am trying to add adsense ads to my blog. I have tried this and it’s left a yellow square on my blog post. can you please help me out with this?

  Hi There-

  When did you add your adsense code? It sometimes takes up to 24 hours for ads to start showing up on your site.

  You might also want to consult with Google if they still don’t show up.
