  AdSense is actually not allowed on WordPress.com sites. You can see this article for more information on that, as well as alternatives. WordAds is the official WordPress platform for advertising. Hope that helps!

  Hi. Thank you for this information. Do the alternatives work in the same way? I’m very new to this whole thing. I’ve never used AdSense, but I’ve just set it up on youtube.
