  My domain expires soon and I don’t want to continue on a paid plan so do I wait until it’s expired to get AdSense authorised? WordPress support says it’ll be nothing to do with them by then but surely I still need to add code to the site? I’m a beginner…

  WordPress.com is in no way related to Google Adsense. If you want to put Google Adsense code on your site you must keep your Business or Creator Plan.
