Adsense
-
I know this might be an old question but I’m new here…
Is Adsense allowed on WordPress? And if so how do you get it on your blog? -
At the moment adsense isn’t allowed. But word is there might be an adsense widget in the future. But oodles of threads on the subject have been posted and you can find more by typing in the search at the top of the forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=adsense
Here is the FAQ on ads:
And if your blog qualifies and if you can afford to, you could see if you can get into VIP Hosting:

Rumor from a third party has it that it may be introduced in the near future, although probably as a paid upgrade.

I know no official announcement has been made on this continent but I thought sharing the references was a good idea. Matt was quoted in the Greek Press and the change to policy stated on the Features Page as well as his words in “Under the Posts” are clear.

When you come up with a question that you think may have been asked before, please do a search of the forum. There are literally several hundred threads on the subject, and our livers go into a squinch every time we see a new one.

Timethief, I think it would be best if we didn’t follow up each others posts. I’ve got to admit that I have zero respect for you now after the comments and lies you made about me here and elsewhere and I think it would just be best if you didn’t direct any posts or comments here towards me.
I wrote ‘rumors’ for a very specific reason. I stand by my statement.

@mjsdouglas
mymyspaceslayouts has told you the exisiting policy and given you the relevant links. This is what the wordpress.com features page states (bold lettering added by myself):

To support the service we may occasionally show Adsense ads on your blog, however we do this very rarely. In the future you’ll be able to purchase an upgrade to either turn the ads off or show your own Adsense ads and make money from your blog.No target date or timeline have been revealed for this change.
