I upgraded my website to heroesofnothing.com because I want to use Google Adsense, but now I read it’s not possible, what can I do? Switch to .org and ask a refund? Or what should I do?

yes, ask for a refund.
Domain mapping does not mean you can violate the TOS of wp.COM re: adverts. If you want plugins and adverts, then you should self-host your blog.

.org users can have ads…..com doesnt..youll have to subscribe to your own hosting site- .org has several sggested sites. i checked their control panel they do allow ads.
