  I noticed that linking to my blog from Google, some Goggle ads show up on top, just below the post title. I don’t really like that, since it’s happening very often rather than occasionally. Is there a way to stop that? Does anyone have any news on the advertising upgrade?

  There is no way to stop it at the present time. Staff have said they’re considering a paid upgrade to wipe all ads off your blog, but there’s no timeline on that right now. The ads generally show up for people who come to the blog from a search engine. They don’t show for people signed into WP.com or who are regulars on your blog.

  Thanks a lot… I would be willing to pay for an upgrade to stop ads appearing on my blog. Hope it’s going to be sooner rather than later…
