  Can AdSense be used, with a personal wordpress account, with a custom domain. Or can it never be used?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There are two types of WordPress. One is where you register a domain, buy hosting, and set up your site using the free software from WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/

  With that version, you’re able to do anything you want with your site including adding Google AdSense.

  The other version is here on WordPress.com, where you get a free domain (yoursite.wordpress.com) and free hosting. All the tech stuff is handled for you, however, there are some restrictions. One of those is that Google AdSense isn’t allowed: https://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

  If you upgrade your wordpress.com blog to a premium account, which gives you a custom domain. Are you then allowed to use AdSense?

  Even with the Premium account and custom domain, you’re not able to use AdSense. For sites that meet certain traffic and quality requirements, there is the WordAds program.
