Adsense and wordpress control over people's content
-
I am getting extremely tired of wordpress control almost every aspect of what can and cannot appear on a site which i own and pay custom design for. My recent issue is with WordPress now deciding that my blog cannot have adsense or other advertising. How dare wordpress think it is their choice what i have on my site and whether i make money from it. If wordpress do not sort this matter and find a way for me to add adsense to my blog then i will serious have to consider whether i continue to pay for such a poor service.

We do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you can apply for at http://en.wordpress.com/apply-for-wordads/
Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:
http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/
http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
Please see this link to learn about the differences:

I fail to see what it has to do with wordpress whether i have ads on my site though. I might just leave wordpress altogether then because these restrictions are too much and unnecessary
