AdSense approved but not showing ads

  Hello,
  I have recently got my blog approved by AdSense and should be now ready to show ads.
  I tried using Site Kit to automatically connect to AdSense, but when I click on ‘Complete AdSense Setup’ I get the message ‘Your account isn’t ready to show ads yet. You need to fix some things before we can connect Site Kit to your AdSense account’. However when I click on ‘Review AdSense account’ I get redirected to AdSense and there everything is in the green.
  I’ve also tried adding the auto ads code manually using ‘Code Snippets’ to to the header, but that also seems to fail.
  I’ve checked ‘Site Health’ and under Site Kit says site and account are ‘ready’.
