  Understand wp.org allows adsense plugin but i see wp.com forum link says info hidden until review. I don’t necessarily want the google adds to run in the blog but want to monetize youtube vids in my ab1vl.com blog (just established btw) when they are viewed. Can you clarify, e.g is there a way to do this within the wp.com guidelines, or must I do $99 upgrade to get the same functions? If so, do I get $18 credit toward the upgrade?

  We won’t do anything to prevent embedded YouTube videos from displaying ads. If you have your YouTube videos monetized using ads that display in embeds (ask YouTube about this), your ads will be displayed when the video is embedded on your blog here.
