Hello. I was thinking about earning some money on my blog: http://www.nyhetsblogg.wordpress.com
But then I contacted the support and asked if it was possible to add advertisement on my blog. I was thinking about Adsense which is the best ad to earn money. It was sad when support answered that is was not possibleSo my question is as following. Will WordPress accept Google Adsense in the future, if yes when?
If this is not possible in the future, I’m thinking about changing to blogger, or another blog site that supports advertisement.

Well why don’t you host your own domain name and use http://www.wordpress.org? WordPress.com is only for personal thingy like diary, journal and stuff like that.

If you think Adsense is the best way to make money online, you need to do more research. And that comes from someone who makes a living off internet advertising.

The best way to earn money is to get a job that pays well. No, seriously, there can be no ‘best way’ to make money on the Internet. There are certainly more than enough MLM and pyramid schemes around, but unless you happen to be on top of the food chain, there’s not much money in that either. Besides, what ‘advertising’ or other scheme that works well depends very much on your blog topic.
Adsense or other advertising networks like Adbrite only make sense if you have enough visitors, of which a certain percentage is likely to click ads. There are also paid posts, which does generate some petty cash, but it a) makes your blog look unfocused (and it’s usually easy to spot what posts are paid posts and what posts are real posts and that makes me shy away from that blog) and b) it more often than not does not go well with Google (i.e. you are less likely to turn up in search results). There is also affiliate marketing, e.g. Commission Junction or Amazon, which I have found works reasonably well, if you can find an advertiser or product that matches your blog profile.
I do make some money on my non-wordpress.com blog, say $100/mo, which for a 200 visits/day blog is pretty good, but I don’t consider it a way to earn money. Earning money on the Internet, real money, is just as hard work as earning money by having a real job. There is no such thing as passive income.
