  just a question. I want to post something adult in nature, about my wife’s breast cancer and surgery. Is there a specific place, category, whatever where I can put this without offending anyone?

  Hi there,

  I think you can feel free to post such material to your existing blog. We (and most of our readers) make a clear distinction between nudity (especially if health/science-related) and pornography, which it does not sound like your content is.

  If you are concerned with offending our community with such content, you could mark your own blog as mature, as explained in http://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/, so the content does not appear in “shared pages” such as our global tags pages, top posts, etc.

  Another alternative would be to register a new blog, post that content there, and mark that one as mature instead.

  As a last note, and before doing any of the above, I would suggest you maybe browse similar content on WordPress.com, and see how others in your context have dealt with such content on their own blog. Here’s an example page where you might find similar stories/content: http://en.wordpress.com/tag/breast-cancer/ – You might even find other users who can closely relate to your ordeal and maybe share.
