  I have a blog that contains adult content. What are my options to monetize this blog?

  There are many different ways to monetize your site. You can read more about them all here:

  WordAds is probably the only one you wouldn’t be able to use on a site with adult content, as advertisers choose sites with family-friendly content only.

  I don’t see an answer to my problem here. My blog is not literally pornography but it definitely qualifies as mature content. This means that all of these so-called family-friendly networks do not allow me to make money with my blog. And at the same time, WordPress says I can’t make money promoting pornographic sites either. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way I can make money with my blog? Nor is it quite clear to me whether this ban on the promotion of pornography and gambling applies only to free blogs or does it also apply to paid plans?

  To be specific, pornography is not allowed on WordPress.com. You mentioned your site is mature, and it does not contain pornographic material.
  You won’t be able to use WordPress.com ads (WordAds) on your site, but that is just one of many ways to monetize a blog.
  You can still create pages with premium content or subscriptions. The complete list of possibilities is on the page I linked above.

  If you’re thinking about ads only and are interested in other providers, you’d need to check with them directly.
