Adult Content In Blogs

    Basically before I upgrade, I wanted to make sure that I can post adult xxx content, obviously nothing illegal, gross, but if I am, what are the limitations and can I use my blog and domain to sell content?

    Blogs hosted here at WordPress.COM are very limited in what you can do as far as an online store. If you want to “sell” views of what you have, you would be much better off hosting your site at another hosting provider. That is called a self hosted, or WordPress.ORG blog.

    I mention this because you would have much more control in enhancing the functionality of your site with plugins, greater e-commerce capabilities, shopping carts etc. The following document gives you more information on the differences between WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG:
