Advanced Custom Fields are broken

When I try to change or input text into a custom field, it doesn’t stick, and I’m taken to the Posts page. I don’t run my website as a blog, so I don’t want “posts”.
I have everything up to date as far as versions are concerned. This is very frustrating for me. I have built my whole website with these advanced custom fields and I really don’t want to have to redesign the website.
If this can’t be resolved, I will be forced to move my webpage to someplace else and leave WordPress.
