Advanced Woo Search problem

Hi everyone, hopefully some may be able to help with this, i’m quite new to wordpress & woocommerce, every time I think i’m nearly there a new problem crops up, it’s a bit of a learning curve.
Anyway, latest issue, i’ve installed the advanced woo search plugin for my search bar to search my products, but the search only seems to work if it’s finding a single item.
As an example, if you search for ‘switch’ I only have one set up right now & it goes to the single item page for that.
If you search for ‘thermostat’ there are 3 products that have that word in both the description & item name but the results page shows nothing.
I should clarify that this is a problem with the full results page, not the live search function of the bar, the live search displays the 3 items under the bar correctly, but I think it’s working too slowly to rely on the live search alone (the speed is a separate issue i’m struggling with) so I want to have a full results page.
The site is using the ocean wp theme & i’ve built it with elementor
