Adventure Journal: All posts sticky possible?

  Hey guys,

  if you post a post as sticky in the theme “Adventure Journal”, it appears as a sort of scrap paper. It lloks cool, but you I think you can only achieve this llok by making the post sticky.

  Do you think it will cause problems if I mark every new post as sticky? Is that a possibility or is there maybe another workaround for getting the same result?

  Yes, it will cause problems because it will override the # of posts per page setting and all of your posts will show on the main page and cause your site to load slower and slower and slower till it simply will not load because it is consuming too many processor cycles. At that point, your site is effectively dead.

  Also, google penalizes slow loading sites since they consider page loading times when determining search engine ranking.

  Yes, it will completely mess your main page.
  The only way to simulate this for regular posts would be via CSS editing (if you buy the Custom Design upgrade).

  Thanks guys, that clears it up. I gues I just gotta look for an alternative theme then. I am not willing to buy the upgrade. Too bad. Thanks again though!
