Adventure Journal theme

  2 issues with this theme that I need assistance:
  1. This theme is supposed to have the option for sidebar menu. but there does not seem to be a way to access the layouts
  2. When making a blog post and inserting a picture with a comment so it looks like a Polaroid, the text which is shown to align to the right of the picture drops down below the picture instead.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1. Adventure Journal theme supports only one menu location, the Primary Menu, at the top of the site.

  You can access theme options from this wp-admin screen: http://secretdiaryofafoodieblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=theme_options

  2. This can happen if there is not enough space to the right of the picture to accommodate the text. Could you try reducing the size of the image?

  Thank you for your feedback. I stumbled across the wp-admin location previously but can never find the way to access it from the main dashboard.

  Unfortunately, the item 2 seems to be related to the comment option and not the size of the image. Some form of glitch that WP need to address.

  You are correct. Adventure Journal Theme Options are only available from wp-admin but not from main dashboard.

  I tagged this thread for staff’s attention to check this for you.

  Meanwhile, regarding #2, Could you elaborate on what do you mean by “comment option”? Your posts looks fine to me now though.

  You can use a custom menu widget if you’d like:

  And the demo uses a categories dropdown widget:

  @supernovia,

  Could you please also check why the Theme Options are available from wp-admin but not from the Calypso?

  I surely saw Theme Options in Calypso for some themes so this seems to be just with Adventure Journal theme.

  Howdy staff-happychia, Theme Options will remain accessible only from the wp-admin dashboard in Adventure Journal due in part to complexities in the theme code and the nature of the theme options.
