Adventure Theme Background Color Not Working Anymore

I just logged onto my blog and the Adventure Theme background had randomly reverted back to the original “wood” image. I have tried to go into the customize background menu to remove the image and reset it to my orange/yellow color theme, but it continues to stay with the default of wooded background.

Just curious if this is a random glitch with wordpress Adventure Theme and if it has happened to anyone else. I have not messed with the background for 4 months and it was working fine with my customized color until this afternoon.

Hi there,
I see a gold background at first and then I see the wood patterned backgorund. It seems the CSS editing you did is being overridden and I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.

Thank you so much… I am not “techie” enough to figure out this hoopla by myself so I hope staff can get it fixed soon (or at least talk me through it)

This just started happening and I am on wordpress.com.

I am having the same problem. I have a background color that was working fine, but all of a sudden that ugly wooden color now shows. My color does flash up before the wooden color too. Please let me know what I can do to fix this.

Thanks for reporting this. It looks like each blog here had updated the Adventure Journal background color using the Appearance → Background page and that stopped working (which isn’t related to custom CSS). I’ve reported the issue to our theme team developers to ask them to look into it. Updates will be posted back here as soon as there’s any news.

Hello,

We were able to push out a fix for this a little while ago. Looking over the sites:

http://7daystime.com/ now shows a golden background.
http://2up4ever.wordpress.com/ now shows a dark teal background
http://triciaclements.wordpress.com/ now shows a purple background.

Please let us know how these changes have worked for you!
