Adventure Theme bottom menu text is not clear

In adventure theme on the home page as one scrolls down to the bottom , you have the black bottom rectangle (dont know what you call this) . This is where the Tag cloud, header menus, etc can be made to appear. The text on this black rectangle is very unclear. It is faded. This is the white colour text on the black rectangle . Can the text font be made more crisper and clearer.
