  Hi there — plugins aren’t allowed on WordPress.com sites. There are ways to display ads on your site, however, and you can read about the WordAds program here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/

  Users with WordPress.com Premium and Business plans have automatic access to the WordAds program, and WordPress.com bloggers with moderate to high traffic and appropriate content also have the option to apply to the program.
