Advertisements in footer is NOT a very good idea. It’s so ugly!
Advertisements in articles are X2 and sometimes it’s the same ad?!!??
I am not against ads, it’s just that you should do it in a better way.Have a nice day!

Our ads team has been experimenting with different ad placements, and I think this might be related to that, but I’ve reported this to them to see what they say.
I’ll let you know once I know more.

Modlook. Can someone help me with the huge advert that has now appeared on my tiny site – chartersshortmatbowlsclub in the widget area pushing everything down. Understand to get free website/blog we have to have ads, but can we meet half way and choose where to put them?

We’ve made a change on our end and you should no longer see that ad in your site’s footer.
The sidebar ad is part of some tests our ads team are running at the moment, and may still change going forward. I’ve passed along your feedback to the team.

Thank you Kokkieh for helping us out. Wish there were more ‘Happiness Engineers’ like you out here in the ‘not tech savvy’ world. At least I have learnt how to post a comment on the forum from all this. :)
