  There are advertisements that show up at the bottom of our blog posts when viewed from Mozilla or internet explorer that we did not authorize… any ideas why they began showing up and how we can get rid of them?

  You agreed to the ads when you checked the box that you had agreed to the Terms of Service.

  The ads are how WordPress.COM give you a “Free” blog – how did you think they were paying your bills for you? Since 2006 at least I have seen.

  You can buy the No Ads Upgrade for $ 30– a year per blog.

  Thanks for the clairty- it was just startling since we did not have ads prior to last week. And especially startling since we run a faith focused blog and the ad was a freeze frame of a man on top of a woman.

  PS – forgot to mention – you don’t see the ads when you are logged in.
