It has come to my attention that utube videos are attaching to my posts. They attach in such a way that it looks as if I have posted this. How do I get this to stop? It is one thing to list other posts that readers can check out if they want. It is another thing to add a video and make it look like it is part of the original blog.

I was suprised today to see ads on my blog too. First time in the four years I’ve run the blog tha I’ve seen advertising. I wouldn’t mind it if they would 1) allow me to disapprove particular ads and 2) set up a shared revenue stream. Its, after all, MY BLOG that people are reading, NOT wordpress.com.

And it is WordPress.com. Where do you think your blog is?
If your blog is popular, you can get the AdControl upgrade which shares revenue between you and WP.com. And if, like me, you get your Adwords account suspended for some GODFORSAKEN REASON THEY WILL NOT EXPLAIN then the ads all disappear, even the non-Adsense ones! BONUS!

thanks for the comments. I thought it was a new thing as I hadn’t run across it in the past. Advertising is all part of the process of revenue and I get that. I wouldn’t have had a problem with it at all if it had not come across like it was part of my blogging. Because I had posted a picture and not extended the wording down the whole side the ad actually posted beside my picture. I had people thinking I posted it and therefore I was backing it.

That absolutely shouldn’t happen. Report it to staff via your Dashboard Help button, and screenshot it if you can to include in your complaint.
