Advertisements on a school teenager blog…..
-
Hello.
Our school project blog is: daleszycenglishforstudents.wordpress.com
When I work at home to build it for my young students I cannot see any advertisments. Unfortunately, my students say they have a lot of advs. while trying to use it. I am so sorry to hear it. I know how it is , as on my school laptop I have the same – I cannon use it during my classes as they disturb so much. I don’t know what to do – to change for Viki maybe. It is a pity, as for over 7 years I have used it for my European projects and what now?
Repeat ASAP, please. Is it possible for you to block them on this blog? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only option is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade as I have done for my blogs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

To off-set the costs of providing free hosting to millions of bloggers, WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/
Any other ads appearing to your students are not placed by WordPress.com. You have an issue on your browser or computer. They are being placed there by software on their own computer, unfortunately. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that they may have installed in their browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:
