Advertisements on my blog ?

  I want to know whether wordpress can display advertisements on my blog ? Even if they want to display advertisements of their choice, i have no issues, but want the content of advertisement to be approved by me.
  Is there some kind of feature available to be added to my blog ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  yes WordPress.COM has the right to display ads on your blog unless you buy the No Ads Upgrade.

  No you don’t have the ability to approve or disapprove the ads that appear on your blog – the advertising companies do the choosing – they want certain demographics in many cases that they want to target and sometimes opt for blogs that meet certain criteria

  But, of course, as auxclass mentioned, WordPress.com has the right to display ads on your site unless you choose get the no-ads premium upgrade.

  Ok, its fine. But how and when can word press can add ads on my blog. What is the requirement to make your blog eligible for it ?

  WordPress.COM has displayed ads since around 2006

  In the fascinating Terms of Service you agreed to, they state that they can display ads on your blog, that is part of how they pay the bills – all blogs without the No Ads Upgrade are candidates for ads to be displayed
