  A visitor to my blog recently copied the image of an advertisement that appeared on my blog. I do understand that, unless I pay for an advert-free blog, WordPress does put adverts on some pages, some of the time in order to raise revenue. I have nothing against that in principle, of course. But I was very unhappy to see the content of this advert that the visitor brought to my attention. It was really very shoddy, crass and uncultured. I am really disappointed that WordPress allow such advertising.
