  Hello! I have ads that I do not remember activating on my website. Can you please tell me how I can remove them? I can’t figure out how to upgrade without creating an entirely new website…

  WordPress.com displays adverts on free sites but you could remove them by upgrading to the Personal plan. You can do so by clicking on the blue button on the right within this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/
