    I have seen a number of adverts on my site in the past that I cancelled.
    I now wish to subscribe to WordAds and have registered with PayPal.
    When WordPress steates that I must use a custom domain and not a wordpress.com domain what does this mean? That I have to create a new personal website? I also wish to make note that while the name of my WordPress account is NARTURA, the one and only account that I now use is HORTCOM and my new email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I see no need to change the account NARTURA and password but please update my email. Thank you in anticipation for your reply.

    Right, adverts automatically appear on a WordPress.com blog. The Personal, Premium or Business Plans will remove this, but you are correct when you say you can profit of the adverts using WordAds: https://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

    When WordPress steates that I must use a custom domain and not a wordpress.com domain what does this mean?

    Currently your blog URL is http://nartura.wordpress.com/. A custom domain will result in the “.wordpress.com” part of your URL being removed (eg. narutura.com)

    No, you do not need to create a new website, and you can add a custom domain to your current website. The Personal Plan comes with a custom domain, and you can purchase it right now: https://wordpress.com/pricing

    Note: There is an option to just purchase the domain and not a plan (see the previous domain link)

    I just want to add that having a custom domain makes you eligible to apply to WordAds. You still need to have a certain amount of traffic to be accepted, but the exact amount is not known. However, the Premium and Business Plans automatically get you accepted into WordAds.
