  Am I allowed to place advertising on my site? (ie. create a cube and if someone clicks on it, it would go to the advertisers site)

  No blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM

  The advertising exceptions noted in support documentation are for high traffic blogs that qualify for and are accepted into the Ad Control program, soon to be replaced with the WordAds program, and for extremely high traffic blogs that qualify and are accepted into the paid VIP hosting program.

  @cric14 If you want to earn from your blog and traffic you have to use wordads this is the best option from wordpress you want

  You can apply for wordads when you have your domain and your pageviews are 20,000 or more per month.

  I already provided all relevant information above.

  you have to use wordads this is the best option from wordpress you want

  WordAds is the only option. When you have no additiopnal relevant information to post in answer to a forum thread and when the answer has already been provided – don’t post into thge thread.

  I provided the correct answer in this thread Jan 31, 2012, 9:07 AM. If and only if you have additional relevant information to post in answer to a support forum thread – post it. And when the answer has already been provided – don’t post into the thread.
