  Hello, my name is Caleb Gibson and i am new to wordpress. I do not want my blog deleted because of advertising and im not sure what exactly counts as advertising. For instance, on my blog i have links to other blogs and websites that i believe are good resources, but i am not getting paid a penny for these links. should i stop that or is that ok?

  Also, my dad wants to use a wordpress blog to use as his buisness site. is that ok? He would be bloging about prices and were to contact him about his party trains.

  Lastly, what if i work for coke? And i state an openion on a item like, “10 reasons why coke is better than sprite” is that advertising?

  It’s certainly fine to link to other websites, and to use WordPress.com to build a site for businesses.

  You’re also welcome to write opinion pieces. However, keep in mind that sponsored or paid posts aren’t allowed.
