  Hello, I’ve applied for an invitation for advertising. While I’m waiting for the answer, I’m curious regarding what my other options are for advertising on my site. Can you please explain to me what I could do?

  Nothing, WordAds is the only allowed advertising you can use that pays you an income. All other ads by you are against the Terms of Service and will get your blog suspended

  I think you misunderstood my question. I want to know what my options are outside of wordpress. How do I change my site so that I can use ads?

  Then you need to move completely off WordPress.COM with another host. If you get a WordPress.ORG install, you might be able to ask at WordPress.ORG for advertising help.

  Since third party advertising is not permitted here, nobody here pays much attention to advertising options.

  No matter what you do, you will need a ton of traffic (I have seen 1,000 page views a day to break even referenced) to make any money

  AdSense, Yahoo, Chitika, TextLinkAds, and other third-party advertising are not allowed here at WordPress.com.
