We show ads on our free sites to help cover our operating costs, but you can remove ads so they do not show up on your site by upgrading to any of our plans, all of which include this option.
You are starting a personal blog, yes? I see you are on a really good streak so far! One thing about ads that I wanted to point out is that if you upgrade to our Premium Plan (or higher) you also have to show ads but you make money from them which can be a nice way to earn some income off of your site traffic.
