Advertising in my blog

  I would like to know if it’s possible to have ads in my blog. I’ve read about WordAds, but I believe it’s not what I need as I would like to personally contact different companies in my country and offer them to advertise in my blog. I would also like to know if I can manage this through the wordpress site, the same way I do with the blog and if I need to register a domain. Thanks in advance.

  None of what you want to do is permitted with a WordPress.COM blog, buying a domain name will not change things at all

  You need to find you own host and set up a WordPress.ORG installed blog – you can export your content from WordPress.COM so you will not need to start all over. Starts around $ 120 / year and up
