Advertising is awful

    Hi WordPress,

    I’ve read your information (such as here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/ ) and understand why advertising is necessary to help pay the bills.

    However, I recently looked at one of my blogs that carries advertising and I was very disappointed. The quality of advertising that WordPress has allowed onto my blog is appallingly awful. It is ads for video games and products with questionable health claims, something that readers of my blogs will have absolutely no interest in.

    Why can’t WordPress sell a higher quality of advertising rather than this bottom-of-the-barrel awfulness that is so pervasive on the internet today? I expect more from WordPress.
