Advertising Kindle book without affiliate links

  If I were to write a book that I sold on Amazon that related to the subject of my blog, could I provide a link (or page about the book) with a link to Amazon for purchase on my wordpress.com blog? It would NOT be an affiliate link (since that would violate Amazon’s terms) but I would still profit if they bought the book of Amazon (or another online bookstore). I have read the advertising section and I think it would be safe since I would not be using affiliate links or other “click to profit” methods. Please clarify.

  Hi Rhodes,

  This should be fine, especially since it would be your book. Users are not permitted to use affiliate links or link marketing services. Since this wouldn’t even be an affiliate link, you should be good to go!
