Advertising on .me blogs.

  Hi,

  I have just upgraded to the .me wordpress blog, and i am curious about if you can advertise on this domain? (unlike the .com). If so, how can i go about this?

  No you can’t put ads on it – the terms of service are the same for a base blog as for a mapped blog with a custom domain name.

  Thanks for the reply aux.

  I know i’ve already upgraded and so i should probably know, but what are the benefits of changing to a .me domain?

  It gets you a name with I think a bit more class – the WordPress part of the domain goes away – shorter and easier to remember – and if you ever want to move your blog off WordPress.COM you just change where the name is pointing and your visitors never know that things have changed.

  My main site is domain mapped (I had the domain and site before moving onto WordPress.COM) and the move was totally transparent to my visitors – they just saw a bit different look.
