Advertising policy

I would like to have some information about your advertising policy. I have been contacted by someone who offers me to put a publicity widget on my blog. When I told this person I was not allowed to do this on wordpress, she said it was possible if I have my own domain, but I am not sure about that and I wanted to check with you, since I don’t want to do anything wrong. I also applied on the wordAds program but I think I don’t have enough traffic yet to be accepted. Thank you for your help !
